Ganesh Ji is considered the first worshipable according to Hindu culture and all auspicious works are started with the worship of Ganesh Ji.
Ganesh Ji is the first worshipable in Vedic culture and he is called Ganapati or Vighnaharta. He is the son of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati and has the head of an elephant, which is a symbol of knowledge, discretion and intelligence. Ganesh Ji removes all obstacles and his worship is considered mandatory at the beginning of auspicious works. He is the god of wisdom, knowledge, and prosperity, and his worship brings happiness and peace in the house. Festivals like Ganesh Utsav and Ganesh Chaturthi especially praise his glory. Ganesh Ji's blessings in religious rituals are a symbol of success. Performing Aarti after worshiping Ganesh Ji brings happiness and good fortune in married life. At the same time, prosperity also increases in the house. Aarti of Ganesh Ji should be done both in the morning and evening.

Many people make mistakes during Aarti. Important things like the type of wicks, their number, musical instruments and the direction of rotating the Aarti should be kept in mind during Ganesh Aarti.
Before starting the Aarti, blow the conch 3 times. While blowing the conch, keep the mouth upwards. Start blowing the conch in a slow tone and gradually increase it.
Clap while doing Aarti. Ring the bell in a rhythm and sing the Aarti keeping in mind the tune and rhythm. Along with this, play musical instruments like cymbals, majhira, tabla, harmonium etc. While singing Aarti, pronounce the words correctly.
For Aarti, there should be a wick made of pure cotton or ghee made of cotton. Avoid using oil wicks. Camphor Aarti is also performed. The number of wicks can be one, five, nine, eleven or twenty-one. Aarti should be performed in a rhythmic manner in the direction of the hands of the clock.
