Krittika Nakshatra: Symbol of Fire, Purification and Leadership
During the great Samudra Manthan, a powerful flame emerged and was established as Agni by Brahma.
Agni was captivated by the wives of the Saptarishis, but their devotion made them refuse his approach. Swaha, who loved Agni, assumed six forms of the Rishi wives and united with him, giving birth to seven sacred flames which later manifested as Kartikeya.
In the Mahabharata, Krishna and Arjuna helped Agni regain his strength by burning the Khandava forest, restoring his lost energy.
“Agni is the flame that leads from darkness to radiance, from impurity to transformation.”
