Life Events from Birth and Their Astrological Interpretation

Shri Krishna is called the Yug Purusha of Dvapara Yuga because his vision, policies and clarity appear ahead of time even today. From the moment of birth his life was filled with challenges. Birth in a prison, separation from his parents, the journey from Mathura to Dwarka and the pain of parting from Radha, all these shaped his story. According to Vedic astrology the planets in his birth chart give a deeper language to each of these events.
Shri Krishna is revered as the eighth avatar of Vishnu. Traditional accounts describe his birth at midnight in the prison of Mathura, on Ashtami tithi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada. This sacred night is celebrated as Janmashtami.
That night was marked by the sign of Taurus with Rohini Nakshatra, along with heavy rain. Astrologically this combination does not only indicate divinity. It also shows that the life of Krishna would not be that of a simple prince. Birth in a prison, immediate separation from mother Devaki and father Vasudeva, all this is also reflected in the special planetary positions in his horoscope.
The conjunction of the Moon with Ketu, along with the aspect of Rahu on the Moon, separates him from his birth mother right at the moment of birth. The harsh placement of Saturn and Mars places him in a field of bondage, fear and struggle from his very first breath.
On the narrative level people know that Krishna was born in the prison of Kansa. Astrology explains the same reality in its own way.
Thus it is said that his birth took place not in a simple household but in the house of his own maternal uncle Kansa and that too inside a prison. In this way Saturn and Mars together laid the foundation of a life filled with challenges from the very beginning.
The eleventh house of a chart is used to see elder brothers and sisters. In Krishna’s horoscope the eighth house, often linked with danger and death, is ruled by Jupiter and that Jupiter is placed in the eleventh house.
Thus both tradition and astrology point in the same direction, that Krishna’s birth, though divine, came after a painful string of tragedies in the family.
Even in early childhood Shri Krishna showed extraordinary courage and fame. In the horoscope this is understood mainly through the placement of exalted Mars and the Sun.
Under this influence child Krishna.
At a very young age his name was known widely, as a source of fear for evil and protection for the innocent. Astrologically Mars and the Sun working together explain this heroic pattern.
The current of love, beauty and charm is very strong in the life of Shri Krishna. Astrology connects this mainly with Venus in own sign and an exalted Moon.
Because of this combination the life of Krishna contains the love of Radha, the raas with the gopis and later the mention of 16108 queens. This number in tradition symbolises his acceptance of many women who had been rejected by society and his giving them honour and the status of queens.
In the life of Shri Krishna, Radha is not only a beloved but a symbol of the highest devotional union. In the horoscope this is seen through the fifth house and Mercury.
The aspect of Jupiter on the fifth house changes this love from a mere attachment into a blend of wisdom, devotion and far sightedness. Because of this, Radha Krishna are remembered not as an ordinary couple but as the highest symbol of divine love.
On one side exalted Mercury in the fifth house grants a profound love like Radha. On the other hand Rahu in the seventh house brings the sign of separation.
From this comes the interpretation that because of Rahu Shri Krishna could not remain united with Radha in worldly terms. The bond was eternal at the level of soul but in social life the two did not live together as a couple. This separation is one of the most delicate pains in his otherwise divine story.
Shri Krishna is not only a symbol of love and sweetness. He is also the embodiment of stern karma yoga. In his chart exalted Saturn, Mars and Rahu together create a pattern of firm action.
With the Sun strong in own sign he stands as a discerning and powerful king who values not only victory in battle but also order, justice and the welfare of his people.
The Sun in the fourth house under the aspect of Mars indicates repeated attacks on his kingdom and home.
Finally, to protect his people, Krishna left Mathura by night and established a new city far in the west, Dwarka. This was not merely a political move. It shows a deep sacrifice for the sake of the citizens, which echoes the karmic strength shown in his horoscope.
Despite such great works, Shri Krishna had to face repeated accusations and blame. Astrologically this is connected with the influence of Rahu and Ketu.
all these actions were actually for the protection of dharma and people, yet they appeared questionable on the surface. Because of Rahu, the pure intention often remained hidden and only the outer form was judged. So even the Lord had to bear the weight of repeated criticism.
Tradition states that Shri Krishna departed from this world through an arrow shot by a hunter named Jara. The arrow struck his foot and the spread of poison through the body led to the end of his human life after about 124 years. This is referred to as his ascent to Vaikuntha.
Astrologically this is described as follows.
This combination indicates the completion of longevity and separation from the body. Injury to the foot also aligns with the twelfth house, Saturn and the symbolic rulership of feet. Thus his death was not a random accident but the natural outcome of long term planetary cycles.
The horoscope of Shri Krishna is more than a technical chart. It carries important lessons.
Yet his chart shows that when a person remains firm on the path of dharma, compassion and discernment, the planets ultimately support that journey. A life full of trials then becomes a divine play that inspires countless generations.
Was Krishna really born on Ashtami of Krishna Paksha in Rohini Nakshatra
According to tradition, scriptures and astrological opinion, Krishna’s birth is indeed placed on Bhadrapada Krishna Ashtami at midnight in Rohini Nakshatra. The observance of Janmashtami is based on these very conditions.
Why is separation from Radha linked with Rahu
In a chart the fifth house shows love and the seventh shows partnership. Exalted Mercury in the fifth gave Krishna a profound bond with Radha, while Rahu in the seventh house created conditions where that love did not take the form of a lasting worldly union, hence the interpretation of separation.
Which planets are seen behind the repeated accusations against Krishna
The aspect of Rahu on the Moon and of Ketu on Mercury, along with certain stern influences of Saturn, form combinations for misunderstandings and suspicion. Because of these, actions taken for dharma sometimes appeared controversial and many charges were raised against him.
Can imprisonment at birth be explained only by Saturn and Mars
Saturn and Mars are key indicators of bondage, struggle and prison, yet a full explanation also considers the twelfth house, sixth house, ascendant and the Moon. In Krishna’s case these factors together point very clearly to birth amid confinement and conflict with power.
How does the chart indicate long life and the form of Krishna’s passing
Long life is supported by a strong ascendant, protective eighth house influences and benefic yogas. In his case these are present and the long term transits of Saturn and Jupiter finally activating the death house suggest completion of a long lifespan and departure through an injury at the feet.
