Nautapa 2026 begins on Monday May 25 2026 when Lord Surya enters Rohini Nakshatra at 3:44 PM. The first nine days from May 25 to June 2 are highly influential and its effect can extend until June 3.

According to Ayurveda what happens outside reflects inside the body. During Nautapa the Sun dries the water element of Rohini. Similarly internal pitta begins to rise.
